Printing Presses Dry Powder Automatic Fire Suppression Systems
The automatic printing machine fire system consists of a tank cylinder, a solenoid valve with pressure gauge, discharge tube, fire alarm, control panel, and thermal detection cord. The tank is filled with dry powder agent and nitrogen driving gas.
Key Features
- Full-automation heating start, requires electricity for control.
- High effectively for industrial fires.
- Simple installation and maintenance requirements.
- Suitable specifically for electric equipment protection.
- Refillable cylinder design for long-term use.
Working Principle
The alarm starts when the thermal cord detects an ambient temperature of 100ºC. The system activates and discharges the extinguishing agent at 140ºC.
The solenoid valve is held in a latched position without power until a signal is received from the control panel. Once released, the latching solenoid opens the cylinder valve, discharging the agent into the system. It also features an emergency release button for manual activation.
Applications
Ideal for environments where fire risks are high or equipment is valuable:
Electronic Computer Rooms
Telecommunications Facilities
Medical & Industrial Equipment
Libraries & Museums
Paint-spraying Production Lines
Ship's Engine Rooms
Quality Standards
Production follows strict international guidelines. Most products carry certifications including CE, EN3, EN671, EN1869, and UL. Our specialization includes fire extinguishers, suppression systems, aerosol systems, fire hoses, and alarm components.
Frequently Asked Questions
At what temperature does the system activate?
The system triggers an alarm at 100°C and fully activates to discharge extinguishing agent at 140°C.
What extinguishing agent is used in this system?
The system utilizes high-quality ABC 90% dry powder agent driven by nitrogen gas.
Can the cylinder be refilled after use?
Yes, the tank cylinder is designed to be refillable, making it a sustainable choice for industrial fire protection.
What is the typical response time?
The activation time is extremely fast, typically less than 8 seconds once the activation temperature is reached.
Is manual activation possible?
Yes, the latching solenoid is designed with an emergency release button for manual cylinder valve depression if needed.
What are the main application areas?
It is primarily used in printing presses, computer rooms, data centers, and industrial production lines like paint-spraying or electrical aging equipment.
